Course Offerings

In addition to the RHN, RECP and Advanced Nutrition Programs (for descriptions, please see Programs), below are some courses that are offered only through Distance Education.

Certificate Course

Nutritional Symptomatology

This course is comprised of the complete Module 1 of CSNN's Natural Nutrition Diploma Program. It will be of interest to either holistic practitioners, who want to increase their knowledge of nutrition and learn to do nutritional assessments, or to the lay person aiming to improve the health of his/her family.

Professional Upgrading Courses

Each of the following certificate courses is approved by the IONC for 25 hours of upgrade studies:

UG02  Attention Deficit Disorder

Synthesizes findings of modern neuro-scientific research, developmental psychology, family systems theory, genetics, medical science. Interprets social/cultural trends and case histories, shows importance of both the environment and the quality of the parent-child relationship in treating ADD.

UG03  Hypothyroidism

Teaches about the thyroid gland, how it works and affects the health and lives of those with low thyroid function. The many and varied symptoms of hypothyroidism are illustrated through numerous case studies.

UG04  Homeopathy

Gives comprehensive and practical guidelines to improving family health through homeopathy. Clinical evidence accumulated over more than 150 years of use proves the viability and efficacy of homeopathic medicine; course points out how well it can work alongside standard medical practice.

UG05  Overcoming Infertility Naturally

Explains relationship between reproduction, nutrition and emotions; illustrates effect of artificial additives, drugs, toxins, stress and other factors on the fertility functions; demonstrates benefits of vitamins, minerals, herbs; points out influence of positive emotions for those trying to conceive.
