CSNN Alumni Association

The CSNN Alumni Association is an incorporated, non-profit, volunteer organization managed by CSNN graduates. All CSNN graduates who want to use the professional designations RHN (Registered Holistic Nutritionist/Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant) or RECP (Registered Elder Care Practitioner) must be members in good standing of their Alumni Association. A yearly fee applies. The first year membership fee is collected with the final exam fee. The CSNN Alumni Association maintains a Registry of its members and serves to protect the interest and professionalism of all RHNs and RECPs and to promote networking. CSNN Alumni members receive a 10% discount on workshops offered at CSNN (upon request).

Articulation

The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and Centennial College in Toronto have an articulation agreement which provides transfer credit recognition for students of Centennial College’s Natural Nutrition program and students of CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program. A similar agreement exists between CSNN and the Transformational Arts Centre in Toronto,

IONC Yearly Upgrading Requirements

The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants has set high standards that must be met before the designation of Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner can be awarded. RNCPs are highly trained professionals who have graduated from an accredited school such as CSNN or have met the requirements through other training deemed equivalent by the IONC Board of Examiners.

Every Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP) must meet the minimum requirement of 25 hours of yearly upgrading before their registration will be renewed for the following year. CSNN offers IONC approved upgrading courses through classroom study and distance education. Call 1-800-328-0743 for details.

National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP)

The National Association of Nutritional Professionals in the United States has endorsed CSNN's Natural Nutrition Program.  RHN's who have additionally completed the Advanced Nutrition courses "Introduction to Herbology" (AN106) and "Introduction to Laboratory Testing" (AN109) will have met the educational standards required to become a professional member of the NANP.

CSNN is a Federal Corporation (3393291 Canada Inc.) certified by Human Resources Development Canada. CSNN offers training for the professional designations RHN (Registered Holistic Nutritionist/Registered Holistic Nutritional consultant) and RECP (Registered Elder Care Practitioner). The RHN and RECP designations are registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
CSNN qualifies graduates of the RHN program to receive the professional Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP) designation from the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC: 1-866-540-1114) without further testing (fee applies).

CSNN is a private, vocational school accredited with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) in British Columbia and a Private Career College registered with the Department of Education of Nova Scotia and legislated under the New Brunswick Private Occupational Training Act in New Brunswick. CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program is licensed under the Private Vocational Schools Act in Alberta. CSNN is recognized by the International Council for Distance Education (ICDE) and the IONC, RNCP designation.
